Hidden trailUnlock with a sigil.
Nothing to seeover your shoulder.
Patterns are easy to read from a distance: a glowing line is exactly what a curious stranger remembers. With the hidden trail on, your sigil leaves nothing on the screen.

How it works
- 01
Turn it on
In Settings, switch on Hide pattern while drawing.
- 02
Draw as usual
The pad stays still while you draw. No dot lights up and no line follows your finger.
- 03
Unlock
Your sigil is checked exactly as before. Only the screen stays quiet.
Shoulder surfing is the easy attack
Guessing a strong sigil is slow. Watching someone draw it is not. A pattern lights up as a bright, connected shape, which is far easier to remember from across a table than a typed passcode, and easy to catch on a security camera or a phone held up nearby.
The hidden trail removes that shape. While you draw, the pad looks idle: no highlighted dots, no line chasing your finger. Someone watching sees a finger moving over a grid, and that is all.
Feedback without a trail
You still feel every dot. Sigilock gives a short haptic tick each time you connect one, so you can tell your finger is on track even though the screen stays still. Most people draw their sigil from muscle memory within a few tries.
Nothing else changes. The pattern you draw, the key derived from it, and the slow, deliberate check behind every attempt are all identical with the trail on or off.
Shoulder-surfer proof
There is no trail on screen for anyone to follow or film.
Same sigil
Nothing new to learn: you draw the same pattern, with less feedback.
Still logged
Patterns that open nothing still go into your intruder log.
On a crowded train, in a meeting, at the dinner table: anywhere someone can see your screen, the hidden trail keeps your sigil to yourself.
Hidden trail, answered.

Does the hidden trail make my sigil weaker?
No. It only changes what the screen shows while you draw. The pattern, and the key derived from it, stay exactly the same.
Do I need a different pattern for it?
No. Your sigil doesn’t change, and you can switch the trail back on whenever you like.
Is it hard to draw without seeing the line?
Most people draw their pattern from muscle memory within a few tries. A haptic tick still tells you each time you connect a dot.
Where do I turn it on?
In Settings, under the lock options: switch on Hide pattern while drawing. It applies to every vault on the phone.
Does it hide the pattern from screen recordings too?
Yes, there is nothing on screen to record. Sigilock also blocks screenshots and screen recording by default.
Can someone still see my finger move?
They can see a finger moving over a grid, but without lit dots or a line it is much harder to tell which dots were connected, or in what order.
